PSA U-10 Academy information
April 21, 2008
PSA offers several levels of developmental soccer. The first step in select level soccer begins with our PSA U-10 Academy. This program is offered to both boys and girls and provides an excellent first step in our serious soccer players’ developmental journey. The PSA U-10 Academy Program is managed directly by our Directors of Coaching. Players will be evaluated as to their ability and if they are invited and accept the invitation to join the Academy, they will be committing to a program that begins in August and ends in May. Players born after 8/1/98 are eligible for this program, and this can include younger players who are worthy of participating at this level. PSA is committed to the development of our players love for the game and development as a player. The Academy Program is strictly a player’s development program. The Academy’s philosophy is one of playing to learn and minimizing the intense pressure to win. This philosophy transcends every training session and match. The Academy coaching staff is specially selected and trained to provide this introduction to select soccer in an environment conducive to Learning and having Fun! Every training session will focus on the technical ability of each player. The psychology of young players must focus on fun.'
