Developmental Divisions (Ages 5 - 18)
PSA’s Rising Star league emphasizes player development in a low player-to-coach ratio. The first experience for these young players is critical, so PSA has created a safe and fun learning environment to ensure each player will succeed. There is no pressure to win games, instead, we focus on player development.
Your child will learn:
- Confidence on the Ball Including Changing Direction & Speed with the Ball
- Developing Proper Technique for Passing & Receiving the Ball
- Preparing for the Next Step... PTFC (Piedmont Triad Football Club)
- Educating Parents about the Rules & PSA’s Development Philosophy
- Introducing Children to Soccer & Creating a True Passion for the Game
What's involved:
- Each team practices one night a week - either a Monday or Tuesday (your choice!) - for one hour.
- Wednesday Night Skills Sessions - for 6U through 12U players. Includes Goal Keeper training!
- All children that participate will receive a complete uniform.
